Let the truths that are the foundation of our faith be kept before the people. The word given me is, Let that which these men have written in the past be reproduced. One by one these pioneers are passing away. They moved forward step by step under the influence of the Spirit of God.
We are to repeat the words of the pioneers in our work, who knew what it cost to search for the truth as for hidden treasure, and who labored to lay the foundation of our work. What is it?- He said that the dead are to speak. God has given me light regarding our periodicals. They will rise up against it, and this is what will cause a shaking among God's people. Some will not bear this straight testimony. This will have its effect upon the heart of the receiver, and will lead him to exalt the standard and pour forth the straight truth. I asked the meaning of the shaking I had seen and was shown that it would be caused by the straight testimony called forth by the counsel of the True Witness to the Laodiceans. We can unite with those who have been led into deception only when they are converted. There can be no unity between truth and error. The old truths are to be revived, in order that the false theories that have been brought in by the enemy may be intelligently met. Some will take up with theories that misinterpret the Word of God, and undermine the foundation of the truth that has been firmly established, point by point, and sealed by the power of the Holy Spirit. The truth is to triumph gloriously, and those who have long been halting between two opinions must take their stand decidedly for or against the law of God. The time has come when things must be called by their right names.
